Pho With Beef Flanks & Meatballs

It has been awhile since I have done any updates on my blog. I apologize for that, but now I am back with a vengence. Here is a question for you guys. Have you ever sat at home on a cold cloudy day and feeling a little hungry wondering what would be the perfect meal to have? I find myself asking this question all the time while I was living in Seattle. As everyone knows, Seattle is one of the worse states for rain. Seattle rains all day, all night, all year long well maybe not but most of the time agree? What is the best remedy for a day like this and what would be good for your tummy? The answer is PHO, it is a national dish from Vietnam. You may have heard about Pho from your friends, coworkers, family or just strangers. I think everyone likes pho and if you don't or you haven't tried it then you are missing out.

The word "Pho" has become a household name as more people from a diverse background become accustomed the name. I've seen many interesting pho restaurants using the word "pho" as their restaurant's name. For example, in Bellevue, Wa, one restaurant is called "What the Pho" and here in El Cajon one is called "Pho King". These very interesting names are thought to carry some sort of humor and at the same time draw attention to the establishment . The most interesting pho restaurant name to me has to be the one on Rodeo Dr. in Beverly Hills which I have walked by a few times but never stopped in. It is called "9021 PHO".
